Children on the Autism Spectrum Disorder need multitude of therapies such as ABA Therapy. Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Social Skills Training, amongst others.

Our program uses the methods of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to help individuals learn age- and developmentally appropriate manding/requesting, language, communication, intraverbals, and other developmentally appropriate skills. Instruction is individualized in one-on-one settings provided by trained technicians and board-certified behavior analysts. Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is the application of scientifically validated approaches used to bring about meaningful changes in behavior.

ABA is a scientific, evidence-based discipline that strives to understand and improve socially significant behaviors. Applied Behavior Analysis examines the interactions between people & their environment to determine the effects the environment has on a person’s behavior (the “why” a behavior occurs).

Features of Applied Behavior Analysis

  • Scientific & evidence-based
  • Teaching of new skills
  • Decrease unwanted behaviors
  • Individualized treatment plans
  • Social behavior improvements

Behavior Analysts systematically assess an individual’s behavior, develop objective goals and a reliable measurement system to monitor progress. In clinical practice, ABA is used to teach new skills, improve performance in already acquired skills & decrease unwanted and challenging behaviors.

Individualized treatment plans are based on assessment results and the specific needs of the child.  Social behaviors that have been proven to be highly effectively taught through ABA include communication, social, self-care, independence in daily routines, school-prep skills and more.
